Hip baths also known as Yoni steams have been on the rise lately and of course I had to indulge. The first time I seen or heard of yoni steams was during an episode of Housewives Of Atlanta. Weekend Round Up

I had a wonderful weekend spent outdoors walking, laughing, eating, and enjoying time well spent with friends. For the second year in a row I was able to participate in the much anticipated Charleston “Cooper River Bridge 10K Run”. This is a very huge event here in the lowcountry where thousands of people fly in from all over the world to take part in this race. It was a pleasure and such a joy to see many people from various walks of life gather together and walk or run in this race. My school takes a group of our staff members out there each year to join in on the fun. I was able to include my close friends and husband along with us this year. We had a grand ol time. After the race King street was filled with people enjoying the beautiful Charleston weather. This weekend also brought people near and far to enjoy food and fun at the “Flowertown Festival” this takes place every year as well, in the heart of downtown Summerville. Another chance to enjoy the great weather, food, and hand crafted items from lowcountry vendors. I even grab myself a bowl of Shrimp n Grits the Low Countries favorite dish! Of course i couldn’t resist fried oreos. I truly had a fun filled weekend.

Oh Zumba! If you’ve been following me on WordPress then you know I love ❤️ to dance. So when my church hosted a Zumbathon I could not resist. We had a blast dancing, laughing, and staying fit together. The Zumbathon was for two hours and the last woman standing was to be rewarded a monetary gift. However to everyone’s surprise just about everyone was still standing till the end. To make things fair we pulled two names out of the hat and wha la they won. I can not express how much fun we had in just a quick two hours. It’s important as women of god that we keep our bodies healthy and fit. As we nourish and feed our spirit man so we must do the same for our physical bodies. We have husbands, children, family, and friends that need us around just a bit longer. So what have you done lately to stay fit?

To Charleston’s “Cooper River Bridge 10k Run.” Dunston Primary received a grant for teachers to sign up for free. So thanks to working in the school system. Yay for teachers. On another note please say a prayer for me, as this is one of my first race in years. So today I will be walking. Photos to come
